Sonny and the real muse

August 29th, 2008 by Leave a reply »

So, Sonny is a children’s performer with an elaborate art car that he calls “The Bubble Truck.” Sylvia is his inanimate girlfriend who requested to be sacrificed so that Sonny can “invest in marketing plans.”  At the steep minimum price of $1,000 for the painted, sculptural, woman-shaped thing, the auction listing seems like it may actually be the “marketing plans” for Sonny’s $18 self-published children’s book about the Bubble Truck, which apparently makes a journey to the moon. Or for his entertainment and party services, which includes him and his truck blowing a lot of bubbles in all different sizes. Whatever the true purpose of this auction, the Bubble Truck does look kind of awesome.
