When “ibaythee” was just a little girl, her father found a marble by the railroad tracks and imbued it with mystical paternal power by promising his daughter that it would bring her luck and help guide her through life. Apparently, the little sphere proved its worth soon after by granting the young girl the pet box turtle she wanted. She is now “up in years,” and convinced that the marble has helped her have a fabulous life with lots of great dates and also spared her from breast cancer seven years ago.
